Built on over Three Decades of Real Growth Work

About Gord Stephanson  The name Voxtur comes from the Icelandic word for growth. That wasn't an accident.

I've spent my career working inside the tension that most organizations feel — between where they are and where they want to be. That gap is where I do my best work.

For over 30 years I've held national, regional, and local leadership roles across professional services, technology, and consulting. I've built sales teams from the ground up, turned underperforming revenue functions into high-performing ones, and coached professionals who were brilliant at their craft but struggled to ask for the business. I know what it takes to build a $14M revenue engine inside a national firm. I also know what it takes to sit across from a partner who's never made a cold call and help them find an approach that actually fits who they are.

That range is intentional. The problems are different. The tension is the same.

What I've learned across all of it is that most growth challenges aren't really about strategy. They're about execution — and the gap between the two is almost always people, process, or both. I build the systems, develop the people, and stay in the work until it sticks.

Through Voxtur I work as a fractional growth leader — embedded in your business, accountable to your outcomes, and practical enough to know that strategy only matters if someone executes it.

When you work with Voxtur, you work with me directly. Not a junior resource, not a rotating team. Me.

A Few Things That Shape How I Work

  • I've led in environments where trust is the only currency — professional services, technology, relationship-driven B2B. I don't bring a transaction-first mindset.
  • My Executive Coaching background means I develop people while I drive results. The two aren't separate.
  • I've worked with companies at different stages — from founder-led startups to national organizations — and I adapt accordingly. There's no one-size playbook.
  • I believe the best growth strategies are the ones a team can actually execute. Complexity is usually a sign something hasn't been thought through enough.

Plus...If you don't love dogs - we likely won't be able to work together.
